Discovering Yourself During Quarantine
As I begin to write this blog, I hope you learn something from it, something to keep you motivated and inspired to discover the things you want and pursue them wholeheartedly.
A Pandemic of Mixed Emotions
COVID-19 has taken its place in our lives and continuously destroys our plans with family and friends. For a year now, the world has fought to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we’ve been told to stay home. However, in Southern California, this pandemic gives me mixed emotions. It’s confusing whether I should feel happy because I’m at home with my family, or upset because all of my plans are postponed.
This pandemic is challenging for all of us; even the wealthiest person in our place caught the virus. No one gets to choose who catches it. It affects all of us, and we all suffer from its impact on our economy. We struggle to earn money because jobs have closed down due to the safety protocols now in place. With all of this happening, I fervently pray for a cure. I hope everyone will eventually get vaccinated so we can return to our everyday routine with family and friends.
Making the Most of Time at Home
As an Orange County local, I still find it unsafe to go out. Fortunately, I get to appreciate the time I have with my family, since we’re all advised to stay home to avoid catching the virus. Let’s not waste the time we have right now at home; we can discover our potential talents and hobbies. Discovering something new in ourselves is also useful, because it can help us in the future when everything returns to its usual routine.
Let this be our lesson, an eye-opener for all of us not to take the little things in our lives for granted. When we do something, let’s do it with so much love, and savor every moment that comes with it.
Stay home with family and be productive.
Let’s not take the time we have now, being quarantined, for granted, because this is such an opportunity for all of us to be with our family and grow as individuals. We can learn so much just by staying home. We get to know our capabilities and realize what we need to survive in this new normal setup.
There are still people out there who need our help and encouragement, and we’re more than happy to help! To respond, just drop a comment. Contact Us Now, or visit Aloha Maids to learn more about how we can support you.
